theextentthatitscoolingefciencyisimpaired,aresultinghighdischargeairtemperatureis
likelytooccur,causingshutdownoftheunit.T ocorrectthissituationitwillbenecessaryto
cleanitusingacleaningcompoundinaccordancewiththemanufacturer’srecommendations.
CompressorOil
Thelubricatingandcoolingoilmustbereplacedevery500hoursofoperationorsix(6)
months,whichevercomesrst.Refertowarrantysectionaboutextendedwarranty.
ReceiverSeparatorSystem
Highpressureaircancausesevereinjuryordeathfromhotoilandying
parts.Alwaysrelievepressurebeforeremovingcaps,plugs,coversor
otherpartsfrompressurizedairsystem.
•Openservicevalveatendofmachine.
•Ensurepressureisrelieved,withBOTH:
•—Dischargeairpressuregaugereadszero(0).
—Noairdischargingfromservicevalve.
Removeplugnearbottomofseparatortanktodraincompressoroil.
Whenaddingoil,removeandreplace(maketight)plugontopofseparatortank.
Thelifeoftheoilseparatorelementisdependentupontheoperatingenvironment(soot,
dust,etc.)andshouldbereplacedeverytwelvemonthsor1000hours.Toreplacethe
elementproceedasfollows:
•Ensurethetankpressureiszero.
•Unscrewseparatorelementfrommanifold.
•Lubricategasketwithcompressoroil.Installnewelement.
