1.ComparethechangedpinkcolorpartAofthetestsheetwiththe
GLYOOL/FREEZEPOINT(Endpad)ofthestandardcolortableontopofthecontainer
andconrmtheconcentration.Theconcentrationindicationhastobewithinthe
colorscopeof33~50%.
2.Thestateofadditivesforanticorrosionisshownonthepointwherethecolorof
MOLYBDATE(Middlepad)onthestandardcolortable(whichisidenticalwiththe
Middle(B)ofthetestsheet)iscrossedwiththecolorofNITRITEonthestandard
colortable(whichisidenticalwiththe(C)ofthetestsheet).Itshouldbemaintainedat
theoptimumrange,inthegreensectionbetween0.3to0.8.
3.Ifthemeasurementresultisbelow0.3,replenishanticorrosionadditives(DCA4).If
itisabove0.8or,drainalittlecoolantandtheninjectcleantapwatertoadjustthe
concentration.
Ifthecoloronthetestsheetdoesnotmatchthecolorofthestandard
colortable,ndamiddlecoloronthestandardcolortable.Forexample,
ifthecolorof(C)ofthetestsheetmatchesDandFontheNITRITEof
thestandardcolortable,selectE.
Topreventcorrosioninsideoftheenginecoolingunit,drainthecoolant
andreplaceitwithnewcoolantonceayear.
ReplenishmentofCoolant
Ifthecoolantlevelofthesupplementarytankisbelowthelowerlimit,replenishthecoolant
asfollows:
1.Removethesupplementarytankcap.
2.Replenishcoolantuntillevelisbetweentheupperandlowerlimitofthesupplementary
tank.
3.Installthesupplementarytankcap.
DoNOTletforeignsubstancesowintotheenginewhenreplenishing
coolant.
Ifthereisnocoolantinthesupplementarytank,replenishthecoolantasfollows:
1.Removetheradiatorcapwhiletheengineandradiatorarecold.
2.Replenishcoolantuptotheinletoftheradiator.
3.Afterstartingtheengineletthecoolantcirculatesufcientlyandcheckthecoolant
level.Ifthereisinsufcientcoolant,replenishmore.
