ð The emergency key can now be inserted into the lock.
8. If the installation position is not known, determine the correct position of the emergency
key by testing in 90° steps.
9. After correct insertion of the emergency key through approximately 150° to the right to
the stop.
ð The lock is now open.
10. After opening the lock with the emergency key, mount the input unit again in reverse
order.
6.5.2 Closing the lock with the emergency key
NOTICE
Malfunction of the lock
Removing the o-ring from the undrilled end of the square shaft may cause the lock to
malfunction.
• Do not remove the installed o-ring from the undrilled end of the square shaft.
• The o-ring must be installed approximately 5 to 8 mm at the end of the undrilled square
shaft.
1. Turn the emergency key to the stop counterclockwise through approximately 150°.
2. Remove the emergency key.
3. Secure the key against unauthorized access.
