7.2 Battery replacement
For security reasons batteries must always be replaced and tested with an opened secure
storage unit.
Do not apply force to the lock. Avoid touching electronic components, this will destroy the
lock.
1. Dismount the rotary knob of the lock for battery replacement.
2. Always mark first the position of the rotary knob for the assembly later, since the rotary
knob can be inserted in steps of 90°.
3. Use an adhesive tape on the input unit to mark the position of the marking of the rotary
knob.
4. Insert the Allen wrench up to the stop into the hole on the lateral wall of the input unit.
5. Pull out the rotary knob to the front of the input unit.
6. Remove the Allen wrench.
