For your safety
Strictly follow the Instructions for Use
Any use of the test device requires full understanding and
strict observation of these Instructions for Use.
The test device must only be used for the purposes spec-
ified here.
Maintenance
The test device must be inspected and serviced by suita-
bly qualified persons at regular intervals.
Repairs to the test device may only be carried out by suit-
ably qualified persons.
We recommend that a service contract be obtained with
Dräger and that all repairs also be carried out by them.
Only original Dräger parts must be used for maintenance.
Observe chapter “Maintenance” see page 31.
Accessories
Do not use accessory parts other than those stated in the
order list.
Safe coupling with electrical devices
Electrical connections to devices which are not listed in
these Instructions for Use should only be made following
consultation with the respective manufacturers or an
expert.
Test values
The tests and test values contained in these Instructions
for Use are examples. The test device owner/operator is
responsible for ensuring compliance with the current and
valid test specifications of the test samples. For informa-
tion on the test values refer to the Instructions for Use of
the sample or the device service manual.
Description / intended use
These Instructions for Use describe the test devices
Dräger Testor 2100 and Dräger Testor 3100. They are
suitable for performing leakage tests according to the
vfdb guideline 0804.
The test devices are used to test compressed air breath-
ing apparatus, full-face masks and chemical protection
suits in the respiratory protection workshop, in the mainte-
nance center or in the test laboratory. The following func-
tions are available:
