The basic environmental requirements for operation of the UPS system are:
•AmbientTemperatureRange:from+5to+40°C
•RecommendedOperatingRange:from+20to+25°C
•MaximumRelativeHumidity:95%,noncondensing
It is required to arrange ventilation of the UPS room. Sufficient amount of air cooling is needed to keep the
maximum room temperature rise at desired level:
•Temperatureriseofmax.+5°Crequirestheairflowof600m³per1kWoflosses
•Temperatureriseofmax.+10°Crequirestheairflowof300m³per1kWoflosses
Anambienttemperaturefrom+20to+25°CisrecommendedtoachievealonglifeoftheUPSandbatteries.
ThecoolingairenteringtheUPSmustnotexceed+40°C.Avoidhighambienttemperature,moisture,and
humidity.
