If clutch was factory installed and was never
removed or if clutch was removed from engine
and reinstalled,
If new/reman clutch was installed and it never
operated properly, check wear tab position.
If tab at GOOD position:
• Disc is installed incorrectly
• Damper is too large for the flywheel opening
If tab not at GOOD position, the bearing may
have been pulled during installation, causing
an overadjust.
Note: Before measuring the distance
between the release bearing and
clutch brake depress clutch pedal to
remove free pedal in the cab.
