1. Position the oil baffle on the housing and install
the oil baffle using a proper drive tool.
2. Turn the housing over.
3. Install the wave washer and next, the thrust
washer.
4. Install the lower bushing.
5. Apply sealant to the spade pins and install the
pins in the housing tower bores. Use a pin
punch and push the spade pins inwards until
they are seated on the bore bottom.
6. Use a center punch and lock the spade pins
around the pin bores.
7. Install the gear shift lever and the upper
bushing.
8. Install the housing cover and install the three
retaining capscrews.
9. Install the boot over the gear shift lever.
