Communications Options
The SC200 system controller has a standard USB interface, a standard RS232 serial interface
(XS1) and an Ethernet 10BaseT interface (XS31) for communication with a local or remote PC or
laptop, or a Network Management System (NMS). See the diagrams on page 2 for locations of
these connectors.
The standard communications options for an SC200 system controller are described in the
following sections. For other communications options contact your Eaton dc product supplier
or see Worldwide Support on page 125.

The Media Access Control (MAC) address is the SC200’s unique Ethernet address assigned by the
manufacturer.
