5.8.5 Automatic transmission of alarms via Pushover
The controller provides the possibility to automatically forward alarms and messages in plain text from the
E*LDS system via the "Pushover" message service (Menu 4-1-7). A user account must be created at
"Pushover" (https://pushover.net/) to use this service. The following information is transmitted in the Pushover
message :
Name of the E*LDS component
Position number (CAN bus address)
Message text
Priority
Date and time of the receive or send time stamp

The controller provides the possibility to automatically forward alarms and messages in plain text from the
E*LDS system via E-Mail (Menu 4-1-7). The following information is transmitted in the E-Mail message:
Name of the E*LDS component
Position number (CAN bus address)
Message text
Priority
Date and time of the receive or send time stamp
ATTENTION
Risk of the failure of alarm messages for Pushover and thus no alarm signalling in the event of
problems! It cannot be ensured that the Pushover message is delivered securely and promptly;
therefore transmission of Pushover messages should not be configured as the only alarm path!
