Recommended electrical connecons
▪ Do not c
onnect the electrical supply ground to the signal ground. If you connect
the electrical supply ground to the signal ground, the gauge output signal will not
be accurate.
▪ When you use the gauge in an electrically noisy environment, make sure that your
measuring equipment is immune to the interference.
For setpoint transistor variants only:
▪ The setpoint output is an acve low open-collector transistor applicable to operate
a DC relay or control logic. If you connect an external relay, use a suppression
diode to protect the gauge from transient voltages generated when the relay is set
to o.
▪ Setpoint transistor variants includes a remote calibraon feature. Connect the
power supply ground (0 V) to the remote calibraon input momentarily (> 50 ms)
to automacally adjust the atmosphere or vacuum reading. Refer to Maintenance
on page 36 for the procedure.
Note:
All the con
trollers supplied by us have sucient immunity.
