2. Introducon
2.1
Descripon
The APG200 Pirani gauge operates on the principle of thermal conducvity in which the
rate of heat loss from a heated lament is dependent on the pressure of the gas (around
lament). Refer to Figure: General view.
1. The gauge has a detachable tube that allows the replacement of the tube or
electronics housing in the event of failure.
2. There is a mul-funcon buon on the top of the gauge for navigaon through the
various menus within the gauge.
3. An LED indicator surrounding the circumference of the top of the gauge provides a
status indicaon and aids the adjustment of the gauge when you navigate through
the menus.
4. The gauge is available with dierent electrical connectors, voltage scaling and
vacuum anges to integrate with the customer process.
