5.3 Gas dependency
The g
aug
e is calibrated for the use in nitrogen and will read correctly with dry air, oxygen
and carbon monoxide. For the other gases a conversion is necessary to get the correct
pressure reading. Refer to Table: Gas calibraon factors below 1 mbar for the conversion
factors of the gases of pressures less than 1 mbar.
The conversion formula is:
True pressure = Gas Calibraon Factor (GCF) x indicated pressure.
