17.3 Phases of the diagnostics test
Irrespective of the type of electronic board and of the selector configuration, once the diagnostics system has
been activated, turn the selector dial clockwise to run a check of the various components and read the alarms
(as described in table 1).
Concurrently, a control code of the selector (or of the second selector, where envisaged) is shown: in Z3
stylings on the display for two seconds, before displaying the contents of the last column in the table below,
whereas in Z6 stylings the code is displayed by the LEDs coming on for three seconds (see table 2).
All alarms are enabled in the diagnostic cycle.

(*) In most cases, this time is sufficient to check the heating. However, the time can be increased by repeating the phase without draining the
water: pass for a moment to a different phase of the diagnostic cycle and then back to the heating control phase (if the temperature is
higher than 80
°C, heating does not take place).
(**) The check at the maximum speed occurs without control of the AGS (anti-unbalancing system) and no garments must be inside the
appliance.
