Adjusting Thread Holding Solenoid
The standard clearance of the thread drawing lever from the surface of bobbin holder should be 1.5 mm when
the solenoid is activated.
1 Remove the belt cover, base and bed cover
(See page 6, 8 and 9).
2 Adjust the needle thread solenoid so the plate A slightly
touches the lever base.
3 The height of the thread drawing lever from the
surface of bobbin holder should be 4.1 mm. If not, see
page 31 to adjust the height.
4 Check the clearance between the thread drawing
lever and the surface of the bobbin holder. The
clearance should be 1.5 mm when the plunger is pulled.
If not, loosen screws (B) and adjust the solenoid to set
the clearance.
