4. Clean the filter housing (4) with the supplied brush (also see Quick cleaning of the dust
box).
5. Clean the metal filter (5) in the ultrasonic bath (Part No. 71007).
6. Dry the O-ring and grease the O-ring (1) where necessary.
7. Clean the top end of the filter housing (also see “Quick cleaning of the dust box) to remove
grease.
8. Install the O-rings correctly (Fig.15) so that the gas flow is not blocked.
9. Insert the cleaned and completely dry metal filter (5) in the filter housing (4).
10. Insert the dust box again.
11. Turn the lock (see Pos. (3) in Cleaning the dust box) 90° to the right.
12. Secure the connector on the metal filter heater.
The dust filter has been thoroughly cleaned.

Exposed power contacts
Contact with exposed power contacts can cause life-threatening injuries
or death.
Turn the main switch to Position 0 and pull out the power plug prior
to maintenance work on the analyzer.
Turn the main switch to Position 1 prior to maintenance work on the
HTFr machine and allow the machine to cool down sufficiently. Only
set the main switch to Position 0 and pull out the power plug once
you have allowed sufficient time for the machine to cool down.
