5.12 Configure AGA8 parameters
Configure the properties necessary for the AGA8 calculations.
How the AGA8 calculations to be performed:
• Internally by the meter - calculates the flow mass density, the flow compressibility and the
base compressibility.
• Externally - calculations are done externally. The calculated values must then be written to
the meter using Daniel MeterLink™ or a flow computer.
AGA8 method
• Gross Method 1
• Gross Method 2
• Detail - enter the amount of each of the 21 gas components as a percentage.
Gas composition
• Fixed - use the fixed gas composition stored in the meter for all calculations
• Live GC - use a gas composition collected by the meter from a gas chromatograph for all
calculations. This option is only available with a GC key or is enabled with the Continuous
Flow Analysis key.
• Configure the Gas properties for the gas chromatograph.
