6. Lift the spray chamber from the lower

cover.

Remove the drain tubing from the spray

chamber.

8. Remove the plastic cap from the spray

chamber by rotating it.

Inspect the two O-rings and replace

them if necessary.

1. Place the spray chamber in an ultrasonic bath containing a neutral surfactant, for 5

to 15 minutes. Alternatively, soak the spray chamber overnight in in strong acid or

detergent.

2. When the spray chamber is clean, remove it from the bath and rinse it thoroughly

with ultrapure water.

3. Let the spray chamber dry before reinstalling it in the holder assembly (see section

"Installation of the spray chamber" p. 46).
