Please read and understand these instructions before installing.
Warning: This conversion kit shall be installed by a qualied service agency in accordance
with the manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable codes and requirements of the
authority having jurisdiction. If the information in these instructions is not followed
exactly, a re, explosion or production of carbon monoxide may result causing property
damage, personal injury or loss of life. The qualied service agency is responsible for
the proper installation of this kit. The installation is not proper or complete until the
operation of the converted appliance is checked as specied in the manufacturer’s
instructions supplied with the kit.
Maintenance And Service

access paneLs:
1. Remove the burner and burner tray
as shown in the maIntenance anD
serVIce - Burner remoVal.
2. Remove the (14) T-20 bolts retaining
the access panels as shown in Figure
10.
3. After servicing assemble in the
reverse order and be sure the gasket
is still intact. Replace if necessary.
There are two access doors in the bottom on the rebox that is used for servicing components after the unit
is installed in a construction enclosure. Proceed only when the unit has completely cooled down.
intake shieLD RemoVaL:
You will need to remove the Intake Shield
to gain access to the components below
and make adjustments to the air shutter.
To remove the shield simply lift it up o the
slots.
DO NOT run the unit without the Intake
Shield as it allows the unit to evacuate
heat and protect the components.
