4.2.2 Replacing the Reduction Gear Unit
CAUTION
Use at least three
people when removing the upper structure (Arms #1 to #6).
One should support the upper arm and the others should hold Arm #1 up. The
upper structure is so heavy that attempting this task requires a large force
.
When
replacing the reduction gear unit, the bearings should be replaced together.

Turn OFF the Controller.
(2)
Remove the cables from inside the manipulator.

Maintenance: 9.1 Replacing the Cable Unit.

Remove the Joint #1 motor.

4.1 Replacing the Joint #1 Motor.
CAUTION

Remove the shaft from the Base.
GT-SA bolt : 4-M4×12
Removal tap : M3

flange from the Base.
GT-SA bolt : 7-M4×16
