Lower the tension bar until it slightly touches
the media.

Confirm that the media is attached without
looseness.
If the tension on the left and right of the media
is different in the areas shown in the
illustration below, the media will not be taken
up correctly. When one side is loose, restart the
procedure from Step 1.
Note:
You can confirm differences in tension by lightly
tapping both edges of the media as shown in the
illustration below.

Continue holding down the d button until the
media has wrapped around once or twice.
Take-up with the Printed Side

Cut the paper tape approximately 70 cm in
length, and paste it approximately in the center
of the media using commercially available
adhesive tape.
