Sec 7.13.7; “Step 7: Configure POTS Cards”
Sec 7.13.8; “Step 8: Build Voice Configuration”
Sec 9.2; Activation of the POTS/VoIP Cards has been removed from this
section, the POTS Lines are “Enabled” previously in Section 7.13.
E 02-04-2009 Fifth Issue Changes:-
Section 7.10; Changed the “xDSL Bridge Management – Configure PVC”
section, by adding a new sub-section to check the following settings in the
“DHCP,PPPoX,AGENTS” tab are set to:-
• “PPPoA Max Payload Option” is “enabled”.
• “PPP MRU Subst (0..1530)” is “0” (zero).
Section 9.1.1(e) & 9.1.2.2(i); ADSL card configuration correction.
Now only select three Transmission Mode Types, these are:-
ADSL2+ (G.992.5 over POTS)
ADSL2 (G.992.3 over POTS)
ADSL (G.992.1 over POTS)
All other Transmission Mode Types must be deselected when the ADSL
cards are configured.
F 05-05-2009 Sixth Issue Changes following the introduction of R4.21 GA EC2 build:-
Section 5.6; “Software Inventory Check”
Updated the software table, changing the CP-IP s/w release from R3C01
(EC1) to R3D02 (EC2). All EC1 references changed to EC2.
Changed the Software Inventory window with release R3D02 (EC2) loaded
into the running bank.
Section 6; “Software Download/Upgrade”
CP-IP s/w release changed from R3C:R3C01 (EC1) to R3D:R3D02 (EC2),
and all EC1 references changed to EC2.
Replaced the “System Software Download” window, which now shows the
CP-IP card with release R3D02 (EC2).
Other Changes:-
Section 2.2 to 2.4; “EDA 2530 MSAN Equipment” description. Several
minor corrections have been made that are not listed here.
