9.4 Interface commands
Abbreviations: v = Sign of value, x = Value in 1/10°C (Number of decimals is given by
the number of x'es)
Note: All commands must be written in capital letters or the SP72 will not recognize
the command and will therefore answer with a "CAN" when protocol mode is
on, or with "?" if no protocol is selected.
9.5 Set commands
SL0y Keyboard lock
y = 0 release keyboard lock
y = 1 set keyboard lock (release with "Local" key possible)
y = 2 set keyboard lock (release only via "SL00" command possible)
SOy Set operation mode
y = 0 switch unit off (not supported in SP72 software)
y = 1 set normal mode of operation
y = 2 set standby mode (chuck-power off, system standby)
y = 3 set defrost mode
y = 4 set save mode
SR+xx-xx Set deviation range for status display "=" and
RI-Request answer "0"
+xx = max. positive deviation in 1/10°C
-yy = max. negative deviation in 1/10°C
i.e. SR+12-08 sets the range from
(Set temp. + 1.2°C) to (Set temp. - 0.8°C)
STvxxxx Set new set temperature [1/10 °C resolution]
i.e. ST+0305 sets +30.5°C as new set temperature
Stvxxxxx Set new set temperature [1/100 °C resolution]
i.e. ST+03053 sets +30.53°C as new set temperature
SHy Set Hold Mode on or off
y = 0 Deactivate Hold-Mode
y = 1 Activate Hold-Mode

SUy Usage mode
Y = 0 Low temperature operation (standard)
Y = 1 High temperature operation
SDy Dew point control
Y = 0 to deactivate Dew point/ OFF (flashing!)
Y = 1 to activate Dew point (standard)
