10.5 Set response string
To retrieve the information requested by the one of the commands below, set the
SP72 into talker mode (i.e. address it as talker).
The type of answer string is set by the "R..." command that has been sent to the
SP72.
The SP72 will then send an ASCII string containing the requested value, followed by
<CR> and <LF>. The EOI signal is set simultaneously with the <LF>.
Example:
To get the actual set temperature from the SP72 follow these steps:
ÿ Address the SP72 as listener and send the "RT<CR><LF>" string
ÿ Address the SP72 as talker and it will respond with the following string:
T+061.5<CR><LF> (presuming a set temperature of +61.5°C)
RC<CR><LF> Request actual chuck temperature
(for compatibility to older SP72, SP73 and SP53 controller
versions this is the default answer if no other command is
specified after power on)
Response: vxxx.xx
i.e. +123.45 says: Chuck temperature is +123.45°C
RT<CR><LF> Request set temperature [1/10°C resolution]
Response: Tvxxx.x
i.e. T-010.5 says: Set temperature is -10,5°C
Rt<CR><LF> Request set temperature [1/100 °C resolution]
Response: Tvxxx.xx
i.e. T-010.52 says: Set temperature is -10,52°C
RR<CR><LF> Request deviation range
Response: R+xx-yy
+xx = max. positive deviation in 1/10°C
-yy = max. negative deviation in 1/10°C
i.e. R+05-08 deviation ranges from
(Set temp. + 0,5°C) to (Set temp. - 0,8°C)
RI<CR><LF> Request status chuck
Response: In
n = 0 Set temperature reached and controlling
n = 1 Heating up chuck
n=2Coolingdownchuck
n=8Error
