The following describes each format in greater detail.
3+1 and 4+1 Standard Formats Comprise a 3- (or 4-) digit subscriber number and a single digit
report code (e.g. Alarm, Trouble, Restore, Open, Close, etc).
3+1 and 4+1 Expanded Formats Comprise a 3- (or 4-) digit subscriber number, and a two-digit
report code. The first digit is displayed on the first line, followed
by a second line where the first digit is repeated 3 (or 4) times
and followed by the second digit. This is the ÒexpandedÓ digit.
4+2 Format Comprises a 4-digit subscriber number and 2-digit report code.
Ademco Contact ID Comprises a 4-digit subscriber number, 1-digit event qualifier
Reporting Format ("new" or "restore"), 3-digit event code, 2-digit Partition No., and
3-digit zone number, user number, or system status number (see
the following page).
