Lining thickness
• Enter the thickness of the lining.
• Press ENTER.

Pipe roughness
The flow profile of the fluid is influenced by the roughness of the inner pipe wall.
The roughness is used for the calculation of the profile correction factor.
In most cases, the pipe roughness cannot be exactly determined and must therefore be estimated.
For the roughness of some materials, see annex C.
• Enter the roughness for the selected pipe or lining material.
• Change the value according to the condition of the inner pipe wall.
• Press ENTER.
Input of the disturbance distance
• Enter the disturbance distance.
• Press ENTER.
This display will only be indicated if With disturbance is selected in the menu item Special Funct.\SYSTEM
settings\Measuring\ProfileCorr 2.0.
Notice!
For pipe materials there are 2 sound speeds, the longitudinal and the transversal one. Enter the sound speed which
is nearer to 2500 m/s.
