white to amber or red if the normal range of

Fuel Flow
Fuel flow in pounds per hour (FF PPH) is dis-
played for each engine beneath the oil dis-
plays (Figure 7-6). The digits of the display
are always white and have a range of 0 to 2000
PPH with a resolution of 10 PPH. If the fuel
flow signal is invalid, the digits will be re-
placed with four amber dashes.
If selected at installation, fuel flow measure-
ment and display can be configured for kilo-
grams per hour (KPH). If KPH is selected,
the value range is 0 to 910 KPH.
The dual fuel flow converter (DFFC), located
downstream of the FCU (fuel control unit)
and prior to the flow dividers, acquires data
from two temperature sensing volumetric fuel
flow meters and determines fuel mass flow.
This information is passed through the DAUs
to the symbol generators and then to the fuel
flow displays on the EICAS.
