Encrypt all Albums on CD:
5. Checking Encrypt all Albums on CD (without setting Password Protection) will encrypt
all the pictures and albums on the CD. The Encrypt Current Album and User will be
allowed to Print and Save pictures check boxes will also be grayed out, meaning the
recipient can view the album but cannot print or save the pictures. You will then be able
to set a watermark for your images.
Encrypt Current Album:
6. Checking Encrypt Current Album (without setting Password Protection and Encrypting
All Albums) will only encrypt the current album. The User will be allowed to Print and
Save pictures check box will also be grayed out, meaning the recipient can view the
album but cannot print or save the pictures. You will then be able to set a watermark for
your images.
Note: If you only wish to encrypt some of the albums on your CD (& leaving the other
albums “as is”), you will need to uncheck the “Encrypting All Albums” option &
encrypt each album individually.
Watermarking:
As an added security feature to encryption, you can set a watermark on all the images in the
FlipAlbum CD. The watermarking feature is only available when encryption is turned on. You
can either use a picture or text for your watermark.
Use a Picture as Watermark:
1. With encryption turned on, check the Embedded Watermark check box.
2. The Set Watermark dialog box will be displayed (Fig 7.10.4).
3. Click the Browse button to navigate to the folder that contains your picture (only JPEG,
BMP, ICO, EMF and WMF files accepted).
4. Select the desired position for your watermark.
5. Adjust the depth of the watermark by dragging the depth slider button or clicking the left
or right arrow.
6. Click OK.
