The interior air is recirculated.
The air-recirculation mode switches offautomatiâ
cally.

When air-recirculation mode is switched on,
thewindows mayfog up morequickly. Switch
on air-recirculation mode only briefly.
Air-recirculation mode will automatically switch
on in thefollowing cases:

At high outside temperatures

While thevehicle is driving through atunnel
(vehicles with3-zoneautomatic climateconâ
trol only)
R
When thewindshield wipersare switched on
(/ page92)
The indicator lamponthe h button will not
light up in this case. Afteramaximumof
30 minutes, outsideair is automatically introâ
duced again.
Switching thewindshield heater on and off

In theevent of high outsidetemperatures,
thewindshield heater maynot switchon.

If theindicator lamponthe button lights up,
thewindshield heater has switched on.

The windshield heater switches offautomatiâ
cally afterafew minutes.

If thebatteryvoltageistoo low, it maynot be
possible to switchthe windshield heater on.
If thebatteryvoltagebecomes toolow while
thewindshield heater is in operation, the
windshield heater will switch offautomatiâ
cally.

If necessary,direct theairflow to
another area of thevehicle interior.

To open or close: hold center 2 of air
vent 1 and turnittothe leftorright as far
as it will go.
#
To setthe air direction: holdcenter 2 of
air vent 1 and swivel it upwards, downâ
wards, to theleftortothe right.
