Problems with theelectronic levelcontrol

Possible causes/consequences and MM Solutions
Youcannotraise or lower
thevehicle levelwhen
stationary.
The compressor is in danger of overheating. Afterrepeatedly raising and
lowering thevehicle, electronic levelcontrol (playprotection)isdeactiva‐
ted.
#
Trytoset thevehicle levelmanuallyagain afterapproximately
one minute.
Electriclevelcontrol has been deactivated due to undervoltage. The bat‐
tery maynot be charging.
Handlingand ride comfortmay suffer.
#
Startthe engine.
#
Consult aqualified specialistworkshop as soon as possible.
Refueling
Refueling thevehicle
&
WARNING Risk of fire or explosion from
fuel
Fuels arehighly flammable.
#
Fire, open flames,smokingand creation
of sparks mustbeavoided.
#
Switch offthe ignition and, if available,
thestationaryheater,beforeand while
refueling thevehicle.
&
WARNING Risk of injury from fuels
Fuels arepoisonous and hazardous to your
health.
#
Do notswallowfuel or letitcomeinto
contact with skin, eyes or clothing.
#
Do notinhale fuel vapor.
#
Keep children away from fuel.
#
Keep doorsand windows closed during
therefueling process.
If youorother people come intocontact with
fuel, observe thefollowing:
#
Immediatelyrinsefueloff your skin with
soap and water.
#
If fuel comes intocontact withyour
eyes, immediatelyrinsethem thor‐
oughly withclean water. Seek medical
attentionimmediately.
#
If youswallowfuel, seek medical atten‐
tionimmediately. Do notinduce vomit‐
ing.
#
Changeimmediately out of clothing that
has comeintocontact with fuel.

WARNING Risk of fire and explosion due
to electrostatic charge
Electrostatic charge can create sparks and
therebyignitefuel vapors.
#
Beforeyou open thefuel filler cap or
take hold of thepumpnozzle, touchthe
metallic vehicle body.
This dischargesany electrostatic charge
that mayhave built up.
#
Do notget intothe vehicle again during
therefueling process.
Otherwise, electrostatic charge can
buildupagain.

WARNING Risk of fire from fuel mixture
Vehicles withadiesel engine:
If youmix dieselfuel withgasoline,the flash
pointofthe fuel mixtureislowerthan that of
puredieselfuel.
While theengine is running,component parts
in theexhaust system mayoverheat without
warning.
#
Neverrefuel using gasoline.
#
Nevermix gasoline withdiesel fuel.
