All-wheel drive
Notesonall-wheel drive
All-wheel driveensures permanent drivefor all
four wheels, and together withESP
®
it improves
thetraction of thevehicle.
The traction controlofthe all-wheel drivealso
takesplace via thebrake system. Therefore, the
brakesystem can overheat during extreme off-
road use. In this case, ease offthe accelerator
pedal or stop to allowthe brakesystemtocool
down.
If adrivenwheel spins duetoinsufficient trac‐
tion, observe thefollowing notes:
R
When pulling away,makeuse of thetraction
controlintegrated in ESP
®
.Depress the
accelerator pedal as farasnecessary.
R
Take your foot offthe acceleratorpedal,
slowly,whilethe vehicle is in motion.
