The factoryequipsthe vehicle withawooden or
plastic cargo compartmentfloor;this is an inte‐
gral partofthe vehicle structure. If youhavethe
cargocompartment floor removed, thevehicle
body maybedamaged. Load securing will then
be impaired and themaximum loading capacity
of thetie-down points will no longer be guaran‐
teed. Therefore, do nothave thecargo compart‐
ment floor removed.
Notesonthe partition
Without apartition,vehicles that areapprovedas
commercial vehicles (N1,N2) do notfulfill
ISO 27956, which describes theequipment for
properly securing aload in deliveryvehicles. If
thevehicle is used to transport goods, retrofitting
thepartition is strongly recommended,asprop‐
erly securing theload in vehicles without aparti‐
tion will alwaysbeacomplexoperation.
