ActiveBrake Assist maycancel thebrake applica‐
tion when one of thefollowing conditionsisfulfil‐
led:

Youmaneuver to avoid theobstacle.
R
There is no longer arisk of collision.
R
An obstacle is no longer detected in front of
your vehicle.
System limits
The system maybeimpaired or maynot function
in thefollowing situations:

The sensorsare affected by snow, rain, fogor
heavy spray.
R
The sensorsare dirty,fogged up, damaged or
covered.
R
The sensorsare affected by interference from
other radar sources, e.g. strong radar reflec‐
tions in parking garages.
R
If aloss of tirepressureorafaulty tirehas
been detected and displayed.
R
Full system performanceisnot available fora
fewsecondsafter switching on theignition or
afterdriving off.
The system maynot react correctly in thefollow‐
ing situations:

In complextrafficsituations, objects maynot
always be clearly detected.
R
Pedestrians or vehicles move quicklyintothe
detection rangeofthe sensors.
R
Pedestrians areobscured by other objects.
R
In bends withanarrow radius.
