thedesignated TopTether anchorage.

If thechild restraint system is equipped
withaTop Tether belt:
The risk of injurycan be reduced by Top
Tether.The TopTether belt enables an
additional connection between thechild
restraint system attached withLATCH-type
(ISOFIX)and thevehicle.
TopTether anchorages 1 arelocated on the
backofthe rear bench seat on thebenchseat
legs.

If necessary, move thehead restraint

Install theLATCH-type (ISOFIX)child restraint

anchorage 1 without twisting.

If necessary, slide thehead restraint down‐

adjust thefront seat so that theseat does
nottouchthe child restraint system.

When using acategoryIforward-facing
child restraint system: remove thehead
restraint from therespectiveseat, if possi‐
ble.
Afterthe child restraint system has been
removed, replace thehead restraintsimme‐
diatelyand adjustthem correctly.
