5.3.2 Edge Calibration
Edge Calibration determines the position of the Robomow relative to the wire in edge mode.
A. Verify that the perimeter switch/docking board switch is on.
B. There are two options to perform the Edge Calibration:
1. If the wire is visible, position the Robomow over a perimeter wire. The Robomow
should be positioned on the wire facing in a counter-clockwise position when viewed
from the inside of the perimeter. Cutting height and ground clearance should be set to
the middle position. The wire should be centered relative to the unit, and the unit should
be at least 3m (10 ft) away from the nearest corner of the perimeter (See Figure A
below).
2. If the wire is not visible, position the Robomow inside the lawn, perpendicular to a
section of straight perimeter wire and at least 3m (10 ft) from a corner (See Figure B
below).

C. Select Edge Calibration in the ‘Service’ menu.
