– Before beginning with cleaning work, disconnect
the mains plug and protect the device against being
unintenonally switched back on!
– Do not allow any liquids to ow into the device.
– Indicate cleaning work with warning signs.
– Put safety equipment back into operaon aer
cleaning work.
When cleaning the enre device, adhere to the guide‐
lines of the Ac
cident Prevenon Regulaon (BGV A3) ‐
especially when the device has been set up in a dusty
environment or when the grinding stock processed pro‐
duces dust.
8.1 Cleaning the device
The device can be wiped down with a damp cloth.
NOTICE!
Do not allo
w any liquids to ow into the device.
8.2 Cleaning the test sieves (mesh wire sieves)
We recommend using the "LABORETTE 17" ultrasonic cleaner to clean
the t
est sieves. More powerful ultrasonic cleaners can destroy the mesh
wire. Place the sieves vercally or with the sieve mesh wire facing
upwards into the cleaning uid.
NOTICE!
Use of a brush c
an destroy the ne mesh wire of the
sieve! Only use mechanical aids for coarse sieves.
With small mesh widths, there is the danger that the
sieve will no longer have the correct mesh width if the
posion of the mesh wire is shied.
