the "External lamp" function is explained in the "Additional functions" section of the "Dis-
play" chapter.
Temperature-con-
trolled charging
The temperature-controlled charging option continuously regulates the charging voltage
according to the current battery temperature. This significantly extends the battery-life,
especially when used in cold rooms.
Relay board
WARNING!
Danger when using the relay board for safety-critical functions.
This can result in severe personal injury and damage to property.
▶
Do not use the relay board for safety-critical functions.
NOTE!
Danger due to non-compliance with the permissible mains voltage tolerance.
Malfunctions and damage to property may result.
▶
For the relay board option, the input voltage L-N is restricted to a maximum of 250 V
compared to the battery charger.
Risk of Electric Shock!

WARNING!
The optional relay board enables the external evaluation of the battery charger's operat-
ing states and the state of charge of the connected battery. It is also possible to supply
one or more external loads with input voltage L-N. This requires an existing neutral con-
ductor in the electrical network. An explanation of the configuration for the outputs of the
relay board can be found in the Operating Instructions for the battery charger: Chapter
"Display", section "Additional functions".
Detailed information on the relay board can be found in the instructions supplied with the
relay board option.
Enclosed is an overview of options directly related to the relay board. These relay board-
specific options are controlled via the outputs of the relay board:
