Four (2 m) mini SAS HD cables are provided with each drive shelf that is supplied with the ordered controller
shelf.
The number and length of the mini SAS HD cables that are used varies depending on the installation location
of the racks and the connection destination.
- If the controller shelf and a drive shelf are installed in the same rack
Use four 2 m cables.
- If the controller shelf and a drive shelf are installed in adjacent racks
Use four 5 m cables.
- If drive shelves are installed one on top of the other in the same rack
Use two 0.5 m or 1 m cables.
- If drive shelves are installed in adjacent racks
Use two 5 m cables.
