Many of the same operations performed from the operator control panel can
also be performed remotely using the Remote Management Interface.
The RMU lets you monitor and control your library from any terminal connected
to your network or through the World Wide Web (WWW). The RMU hosts a
dedicated, protected Internet site that displays a graphical representation of
your library.
After establishing a connection to the library, open any HTML browser and enter
the IP address of the library. To configure the RMU, you must set the IP address
at OCP or DHCP.
4.4.2 Library Status Icons
Status icons indicate the following conditions:
Symbol Description
The green Status Ok icon indicates that the library is fully opera-

of performing operations.
The red X Status Error indicates that user intervention is required
and that the library is not capable of performing operations.
