Installing a battery

► Position the battery at th e edg e.
► Push the battery into the battery slot until you feel it lock into place (1).
► Complete the removal, see chapter "
Finishing component removal", Page 77.
Module

The design of your notebook enables the flexible use of notebook batteries and drives. T he
following modules can be operated in the module bay of your notebook:
• Second battery
• Second hard disk drive
• Optical drive
• Blank slot (weight saver)
Only use modules designed for your notebook.
Do not use force when installing or remo ving the module.
Make sure that no foreign objects enter the module bay.
You c an swap modules during operation. This means you do not
need to switch off the notebook.
To replace a module, simply click on the corresp onding icon in the
task bar and then on Exit or Select - Exi t.
The module can now be removed without any further actions being necessary.
