If the error message appears repeatedly, despite troubleshooting measures, please

► Switch the notebook on.
► Press the function key

to access the
BIOS Setup.
► In the BIO Setup, select the Exit menu.
► Select the entry Load Setup Defaults.
► Select OK and p ress the Enter key.
Extended memory failed at offset: xxxx Failing Bits:

When testing the extended mem ory an error has
resulted at the address xxxx.
► Check whether the add itional memory
module has been inserted correctly.

The settings of the ha rd disk drive are incorre ct.
