What to do if Fujitsu ScanSnap S510 is not recognized?

If your Fujitsu Scanner is not recognized even after ScanSnap Manager is installed, and the scanner is registered as 'Other device' in the 'Device Manager', go to the [Start] menu, select [Control panel] -> [System] -> [Hardware] -> [Device Manager]. Delete the device name (such as USB device, which varies with the OS) under 'Other Device' in the [Device Manager], and then restart your PC.
