When equipped with the DSC general watch keeping receiver PCB, the “J2-#1: INST” signal, turning
to “L” level, is input to the CONTROL/MODEM board.
The control section CPU (Main CPU) recognizes that the board is installed, and controls this board. If
this board is not installed, the CPU remotely controls the receiver of the MF/HF radiotelephone. The
DSC watch keeping receiver PCB does not use the INST signal.
