Monitoring function
This function automatically monitors whether the frequency to be used for DSC call or an Acknowledge
transmission is already being used for other communication, and, if used, sends the DSC or Acknowl-
edge after the communication finishes. The monitor detects DSC signals with a modem.
This function works in different ways depending on the category of the transmitting message.

The DSC general watch keeping receiver, if it is installed, monitors the signal before the DSC call or
DSC ACK BQ transmission. If the receiver is not installed, the MF/HF radiotelephone performs this
function.
