DECOMPRESSION DIVE MODE
The Resource Pro is designed to help you by providing a complete representation of how close
you are to entering decompression. Decompression Dive Mode activates when theoretical no de-
compression time/depth limits are exceeded.
In the event that you enter Decompression Mode, you would need to immediately begin a safe
controlled Ascent to a depth slightly deeper than, or equal to, the Required Ceiling Stop Depth
indicated and decompress for the Stop Time indicated.
Entry into Decompression Mode (Fig. 31)
Upon entering Decompression Mode, the Ceiling Bar and UP Arrow symbols appear on the dis-
play as a warning. The Nitrogen Bar Graph will display a segment next to the deepest Stop
Depth required (Fig. 31a). Other information displayed includes:
Total Ascent Time with the symbol TAT (Fig. 31b) - this includes stop times required at
all ceilings plus vertical ascent time calculated at 60/30 feet (18/9 meters) per minute.
Stop Time Required and the symbol STOP (Fig. 31c) - time for the Stop Depth indicated.
Current Depth and the symbol FT (or M) (Fig. 31d).
Ascent Rate Indicator - while ascending.
If a Stop Depth of 50 FT (15 M) or 60 FT (18 M) is required, all segments of the Nitrogen Bar
Graph will be displayed and the required Stop Depth (50 or 60) will appear numerically in the
lower/right portion of the screen (Fig. 32a).
