A kit is available which includes all the parts
required to replace the:
Outer lid seal
Inner lid seal
Inner lid feed seal
Anti-overfill tube
Grasp the outer lid seal and pull it away from
the outer vacuum chamber to remove it.
To fir the new seal, align the two small
notches with the hinge mechanism and the
large notch with the latch assembly.
Using fingers only, manipulate the seal onto
the rim of the vacuum chamber, push it down
evenly all the way round.
To finish neatly, tuck the lid seal skirt under
the cladding all the way round.
Grasp the inner lid seal and pull away from
the evaporation vessel to remove it, avoid
dipping the lid seal into the contents of the
evaporation vessel.
To fit the new inner lid seal, ensure even
distribution by start at two opposite points
on the evaporation vessel, then work at
four points, 90° apart, to manipulate the
seal onto the rim using fingers only.
Note: The inner lid seal is now supplied in
EDPM blue, this upgrade replaces the
black Viton seal shown in this user manual.
