1. Unscrew the finger-nut and disconnect
the feed hose from the top of the rotary
joint.
2. Unscrew the hexagonal plastic nut and
disconnect the bleed hose from the rotary
joint.

3. Unscrew the knurled union ring and
separate the rotary joint cap from the lid
assembly.
4. Using a 14 mm spanner, loosen then
unscrew the hose connector from the top
of the rotary joint cap.
5. Withdraw the PTFE inner liner and two
O-rings from the rotary joint cap.
6. Inset a flat-blade screwdriver into the
slot in the rotary joint cap to lock the
shaft.
7. Open the lid and using a 17 mm open
spanner, loosen the PTFE outer liner,
then unscrew and withdraw the liner
and O-ring from the lid assembly.
Reverse the disassembly process to
reassemble the rotary joint.
Tighten up the PTFE outer liner finger tight,
then tighten further ¼ to
1

of a turn using
a 17 mm spanner. Insert the PTFE inner
liner into the rotary joint cap and secure
using the Polyflon hose connector. Tighten
finger tight, then a further
1
/
3
to ½ a turn
using a 14 mm spanner.
