Evaporator positioned
Higher that the chiller:
1. Switch off the chiller.
2. Disconnect the quick-release
connector for the coolant feed hose to
the evaporator.
3. Elevate the end of the hose and allow
the coolant to drain from the
condenser coils into the chiller
reservoir.
4. Repeat the above process for the
coolant return hose.
5. Disconnect the coolant hoses from the
chiller if required.
Evaporator and chiller
positioned at the same height:
1. Switch off the chiller.
2. Disconnect the quick-release connector
for the coolant feed hose the chiller.
3. Elevate the end of the hose and allow a
small amount of coolant to drain into the
chiller.
4. Disconnect the coolant return hose from
the chilller and hold the end over a
suitable collection vessel until all the
coolant has drained from the
evaporator.
5. Retain the collected coolant and tip
back into the chiller reservoir, see the
chiller Operating Manual for details.
