If the horizontal axis tilt correction
factor is greater than 0.02gon, a "Fail
Remeasure?"
message will be shown on the display.
This question should be answered by
Yes and the measurement procedure
repeated. If the factor is greater than
0.02gon and you answer NO to the
remeasurement question, the instru-
ment will retain and use the correction
factor which is presently stored in the
instrument. However, if the factor
proves to be greater than 0.02gon,
then the instrument must be
mechanically adjusted at the nearest
authorized Geodimeter service shop.
After answering Yes to storage of the
horizontal axis tilt correction factor,
you are automatically returned to the
P0 start procedure.
