AUTO BUMP / CAL STATION - HANDBOOK
2.1.3 Connect Air / Exhaust Tubing to Auto Bump /
Cal Station (if required)
If the Auto Bump / Calibration Station is located in a poorly
ventilated area, it is recommended that tubing is connected to
both ‘AIR’ inlet and ‘EXHAUST’ outlet adaptors on the rear face
of the station using barbed adaptors supplied with the station.
GMI recommend the use of an ‘AIR’ in-line lter, also supplied
with the station. The (in-line lter) barbed adaptor is a push
t in the ‘AIR’ inlet adaptor on the rear face of the station, as
illustrated in Fig. 2-7.
Air inlet tubing, from the in-line lter, can be routed to the
nearest window for the supply of fresh air.
Note: 6mm o/d tubing (not supplied), connects directly into
the ‘AIR’ or ‘Exhaust’ adaptor tting on the rear of the
station.
For
1
/4 in. o/d tubing (not supplied), an adaptor kit (6mm
to
1
/4 in.) is available as an accessory and supplied as
a pack of 3 (Part No. 64085). The adaptor is tted, as
illustrated in Fig. 2-6, before connecting tubing.
Alternatively, compressed air can be used to supply inlet air.
Note that if this option is adopted, the in-line lter cannot be
used.
